Back to School is a fun, exciting and even a little scary time of the year. Whether you are a well versed in the back to school game, or you’re just sending your first little one off; we are here to make your transition to the 2023-2024 school year at SMG as easy as possible.
Here are some important dates and information to make note of.
Aug 1st 5pm – 6pm TK & Kinder Orientation
Aug 14th 3pm – 5pm Welcome Back Popsicle Social & Check Class Lists
Aug 15th FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL 8am
Aug 15th Parent/Meet & Greet 8am – 9am Panther Plaza
Aug 17th Home & School Club Meeting 8am (VOTING IN NEW PRESIDENT!)
Aug 15-18 TK & Kinder dismissal is 11am
Regular Bell Schedule is 8am – 2:45pm; Wednesday dismissal 12:45pm
IMPORTANT: Adults may walk their children onto campus and to their class/line the first FOUR days of school only. For the safety or our students and staff, SMG is a closed campus. Beginning Monday, August 21 adults must have their district issued volunteer badge. Adults must check in at the front office at drop off/pick up; unless they have acquired their SMG sticker from the front office.
